Name: Fever Pitch
Faction: Autobot
Height: 15' 1"
Gendertype: Mech
Alt. Mode: 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra
Basic Physical Description: (robot mode) Bumblebee bodytype, what with the humanoid layout and looks. The grill of the car breaks up to become a compact and
broad chest, moving down to an athletic waist. Is short and compact, with the majority of his engine making up the various kibbles and bits of his abdomen and
back. His two front tires shift to the backs of his shoulders, but the rubber peels off and becomes extra shoulder padding, leading the "spiked"
wheels to cover his shoulderblades. The silver "running pony" characteristic of the Ford Mustangs sits on his grill, which is right in the middle of
his chest. Fever's headlights come up and over the rubber padding on his shoulders instead of sitting on his chest, while the smoked out taillights and
trunk deck, as well as the real axle and back half of the drivetrain help to become his legs and feet.

Personality: Easy going for the most part, though he does have a temper that tends to flare up. Fever is extremely competetive and will rarely turn down a
challenge. He is a friendly mech, though, and isn't as fast to judge on others, usually giving a mech a chance before condemning them. Fever is also
protective of his family and friends, but he'll let his buddies take care of themselves unless asked for help, which is how he'd prefer it done. He
doesn't believe in doubleteaming or gang fighting - one on one is how it's done. 'Sides, if his buddies bumble themselves into a situation that was
over their heads, no bad things can come from letting them get a lil smackdown for being stupid. He will always step in if it gets too rough though.
He has picked up and adopted a Boston accent from Franklin.
History: He is one of the younger Cybertronians, as old as Bumblebee or Barricade, and was given life by the Allspark around the same time. By then Cybertron
was in turmoil and well into the civil war, and despite a normal Autobot upbringing the choice was clear: civilians were being killed, and every Autobot who
was brave enough to step up to the plate needed to do so. Immediately after graduating from his initial education Fever Pitch enlisted and began combat and
military training. It was his nitch, and he enjoyed the downtime with the boys in the barracks. The years went by and the Autobots suffered greatly at
Megatron's hands, until civilians began to flee by the masses into the stars. The military followed, taking the war abroad when life was no longer an
option on the planet -- it was dead, gone, with bodies and destruction littering the grounds. It was all that was left.
Pitch continued to fight the war tirelessly, always keeping a cool head, for years and years and years on end until
everything went haywire. The post he was stationed at was destroyed and the remaining soldiers found themselves taking refuge among the stars, alone. He
traveled and hunted for his brothers, or any other Cybertronian, until he found a small blue planet with technology and energy, two things he needed.
Fever landed in Tampa in 2004 and immediately assumed the form of the first car he saw that a.) fit his mass requirements, and b.) was yellow. He scanned the form of a brand new 2004 40th Anniversary screamin' yellow Ford Mustang Cobra. Unfortunately, it was opening time at the dealership and Fever barely had enough time to rip out the real Cobra's VIN and identification badges before the early morning washing crews started showing up. The humans were puzzled at where the mangled Mustang had come from but towed it off, to where, the smug Autobot wasn't sure. That day, he was sold for a heft price tag to one Franklin Marshall.
Given that Pitch didn't have a mission or orders, he played the part of the good car and stayed quiet, going out on his own at night only after he knew the family was asleep. Quickly he learned their routine: Get up 8 AM, at the Customs shop by 9, park the Cobra in it's special owner's spot under a tree, usually backed in, in the front lot very near the garage, work til 5, cleanup til 5:30, go hang out for the rest of the evening. The latter varied constantly, between going out to dinner, hanging at home, movies, sometimes trips to the local track so that they could watch the racers.
2005 rolled around and by then Fever Pitch knew "his family" like the back of his hand. A new club formed and Frankie discovered it, and suddenly Saturday evenings were filled with car shows and cruises and Poker Runs and lots of other Stangs. It was then that Pitch began to truly appreciate what he had chosen as an alt mode - he'd become a Mustang fan, and marched in silent pride alongside whistling supercharged road monsters that shared the same running pony on their grills. Another year went by, and Eva graduated from college. Much to Fever's surprise, he was her gift from daddy.
Franklin got another Mustang and Fever found himself thrown into a young woman's world. They were different than the parental adults, she had a tenacious, venomous personality with such vitality. She worked for her parents in their shop for a while, taking the occasional trip to Daytona, Cocoa Beach, once even to Panama. Fever began to give her subtle signs that there was more to meet the eye with him; radio "malfunctions", strange mornings where the Cobra wouldn't be in the morning where she parked it the night before, things like that. Finally on a weekend trip to meet some friends in Clearwater Beach, Fever came out of the closet.
Boy, the ladies have an interesting reaction when their cars tell them they aren't actually cars.
The poor girl got over it and accepted it, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Weapons:
Dual plasma cannons: Both arms, along the outside edge of his arms, his stainless steel exhaust pipes sit. When in
weapon mode his lower arms configure into the cannons themselves. Given the small barrel size, the shots are small, but incredibly fast and very powerful,
since all the power is concentrated into a tennis-ball sized shot. He uses solar energy to fire them during the day, or a solar-fed battery pack can last for
several hours at night. Unfortunately, with the concentrated shots, the barrels will get very hot and start to melt after a fifteen minute period, requiring
five minutes to cool off. Heavy damage to medium armor (will puncture a 2 inch surface area and scorch the surrounding 3 inch diameter). He can fire these in alternate mode, so chasers beware.

Mother/Father: Franklin "BlownSteed" Marshall (58), Dorothy "BlownSteed's Wife" Marshall

History: (should include place of birth, schooling, etc) Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Eva grew up around American
classic hotrods. Her father is an engineer, her mother has a bachelor's in art, and somehow, both of them wound up working on cars for a living. Ever since
she was little, Eva can remember having her arms up to the elbows into the engine block of some vehicle - by 7 she was changing oil, by 12 she could maintain
all of a cars fluids, replace brake pads, and rotors. By 17 she could disassemble an engine and put it all back together. She entered the Tampa campus of the
University of South Florida and graduated holding a degree in criminology as her well-to-do parents continued their shopwork - Dorothy and Franklin own a
modular shop which offer custom paint, audio systems, security systems, and just about everything else you can think of to put on, in, or near your street rod.
In 2005 the family discovered a local Mustang club called the Stang Gang. Franklin, having always been an avid enthusiast (as well as owning 2 Mustangs within
the family) was eager to join, and the whole family, Frankie, Dorothy, and Eva were all avid members (BlownSteed50, TheSteed's Wife, and LilStang were
their respective usernames).
The "Cobra" was her dad's 2004 that he and handed over to Eva in 2006 when she graduated from college. Frankie now owns a 2006 yellow Steeda Q525, Dorothy drives a 2006 Mustang GT convertible with Cervini Stalker body kit
Yes, they are rich, yes they are gearheads, yes they all have various college degrees the never use.
They sold their business and moved to Los Angelas, CA, when Franklin was offered a job at the Saleen plant in Irvine.
Her parents don't know about Fever Pitch.
Eva does.
