Personality: Proud. Liar. Cheater. Backstabber. Ruthless. Vain. Ambitious. Intelligent. Efficient. Powerful. Ask any Cybertronian what comes to mind when they hear the name "Starscream" and that is what they will tell you, in the middle of their fear-filled whispers or hateful tirades. It is no secret to any of them what kind of Decepticon he is, and this has led some to wonder why he even has followers, nevermind why the High Lord Megatron didn't slag the treacherous "Seeker King" when he was still alive. But truth is: Starscream is no fool. His reputation is just another piece that he uses in his little games of 'chess' with the utmost efficiency. And when his rivals and enemies mock him for his failures, they forget that for each failure or defeat there are a thousand victories. When they accuse him of being stupid, they forget that that for each act of stupidity there are a thousand acts of sheer brilliance. When they accuse him of being weak, he will personally show them why he is one of the most powerful Decepticons. And when they accuse him of being an uncharismatic petro rabbit, he will set loose his followers upon them, who have faith in their glorious leader because of his belief in ALL Decepticons. No, Starscream is no fool. There is a reason that he is this proud and everyone will do wisely to remember that....Especially when he will achieve his life's goal and become Lord Starscream.

History: Starscream's early life is shrouded in a dark vail of mystery left in the wake of countless assassinations, silenced old friends and destroyed archives, and only the most wild and inaccurate rumors remain. One of the most stubborn ones is that he used to be involved with the Grande University, but these claims can not be investigated because the entire building was destroyed, early on in the war. But whatever the may have been once, there is no doubt Starscream wasn't among Megatron's must trusted when the war began. He started out as the commander of a single Seeker unit, who eventually grew frustrated with the lack of attention for his obvious skills. When no rewards came, he decided that it was foolish to wait for them and instead decided to claim what was supposed to be his. He challenged his commander to a one on one fight, but then struck him down with the help of his most loyal wingmates, showing everyone that tactics are more important then honor.

He relied on this backstabbing scheme on many times, until he finally noticed that it was backfiring: His new commanders were untrusting and he was losing more and more of his loyal soldiers, who believed that an honorless winged rat wasn't worth fighting for. From that moment on he started relying on other, more secret tactics, like letting his smallest lieutenants sabotage those who he was to fight, after which he could best them in a one on one combat. This new tactic helped him repair his reputation, though it never truly went away, which he then just decided to live with. But he also knew that sooner or later his saboteurs would be caught, so he instead decided on different measures: Improving his skills, using his vast intellect to it's fullest potentials and fall for that disfiguring but oh so powerful assets....Upgrades.

Starscream sought out the best upgrades for himself and even manufactered some of them, giving himself the (in his eyes) perfect prototypes before giving the weakened production versions to some of his subordinates. As he rose through the ranks he resembled his old self less and less, until he was nothing more but the perfect Seeker: Agile, powerful, fierce...A true bird of prey. Soon no other flier was able to match his skills or strength, and this coupled with his intellect and rank finally got him noticed by Lord Megatron. At first Starscream was just one of his generals, but after a few assassinations, sabotaged missions and just sheer intimidation, he was in Megatron's inner circle. But not even this was enough to the Seeker King, who wanted nothing more then beat the only person who was keeping him away from the peek of his ambition: Megatron.

Starscream was already planning his betrayl even as he commanded his troops in the name of Lord Megatron, but he had grown arrogant and overtly confident of his own abilities...Not to mention that he had lost all patience. He finally acted too quick and without thought at the first opportunity, but Megatron easily repelled his attack and brutally punished him. Everyone knew that he was going to be executed for something that no Decepticon had dared to in the relative short time that the war had lasted, and as he was waiting for his inevitable death, he couldn't help but question himself. Where had he gone wrong? Had he become to bold, to rash, to dependent on his strength and intellect, and neglected his cunning and tactical skill? And in whom's interest was he acting? Then the day before his execution, he realized: He had been ambitious, but had no set goal. What started out as frustration at the lack of acknowledgement had twisted him into a rash maniac who wanted to be ontop for no other reason then being the best, to finally put the days of himself as a sniveling weakling behind him. Basically...

...He had become Megatron.

It was true. Before he was too blind to truly notice it or pay it any mind, but now he remembered the tales and the events. The warriors who defected back to the Autobots weren't weak cowards, but had lost faith in everything that Megatron had spoon fed them. The battles which had made use of massive kamikazes weren't to lay siege to important keypoints, but to allow Megatron access to possible Allspark hideouts, only to make him grow ever frustrated when he found out that the Autobots had moved it AGAIN. The war wasn't about making the Decepticons the supreme species on Cybertron and all of it's outer space colonies...But to find the Allspark, so that Megatron could claim it and become the most powerful being in the galaxy, to force his will upon all others.

Megatron was nothing more then an egoistic, power hungry fool. And so was he.

With that knowledge Starscream accept his fate. The last few hours of his life, he only felt two things: Shame for his acts, and hatred to himself and Megatron for abusing his comrades for his own gain, not even his 'hunger' was bothering him anymore, he just wanted it to end. But when it was time for his execution, he was freed by none other then Megatron himself, who mocked him for his foolishness, questioning his intelligence for even attempting to backstab the mightiest Decepticon alive, and ended with asking Starscream if he had learned from his time in this cell, learned from the days of loneliness, starvation and fear of an uncertain fate. Starscream responded that he had and repledged his loyalty and was thus allowed to walk free, but what Megatron didn't know was that Starscream had learned quite a different lesson then the Lord had intended to...

...And that the only way to do so was to get rid of Megatron and share the power of the Allspark (with himself as their leader, naturally).

All of them approved of his plans and joined under his own command, but he also told them that patience and carefull planning was of the essence. Gathering other members for "Starscream's Brigade" should happen in top secret to avoid suspicion, and everyone of them had to meet with Starscream in person, just like how Megatron had done with the first Decepticons. Most of them loved the idea of using Megatron's tactics against him, and those who didn't were still satisfied with this new Starscream, though all of them still were a little paranoid because of his old reputation. But this lessened as they set out to follow Starscream's orders, as he had become a true revolutionary; a brilliant mastermind who would lead them to glory. More and more new members joined him with each new day and all went well until the wrong ones joined, those who couldn't keep their mouths shut and started rumors. Those still loyal to Megatron caught wind of this, and started telling their Lord of these tales.

Megatron wasn't surprised, but his next act surprised all Decepticons: He made Starscream his second in command. Many had wondered if the Lord had become insane, but Starscream knew what Megatron was planning with this. Starscream had become the second face of the Decepticons, and making him his second in command would strongly suggest that he supported the supreme commander. But even more importantly: it became VERY hard for Starscream to sneak out and do as he please, for he was now not only surrounded by Megatron's top mechs, but also Megatron himself. Any suspicious action would be immediately noticed and punished, which would have ruined the plans of any other ambitious Decepticons...But they weren't Starscream.

This little Seeker wouldn't let something as simple as closer observation hold him down, oh no, far from it. It was just another thing he could use to achieve his goals, and he was crafty enough to do it without rousing suspicion. More and more Decepticons joined his side, and when there were enough, he began ordering them to sabotage missions so that the higherups loyal to Megatron would perish, so that he could replace them with his own. But he knew this would only rouse more suspicion against him, so he undertook a daring plot: 'Killing' some of his staff, but giving them new bodies as their old bodies were hidden on the battlefield. That way there was no suspicion against him while his staff could keep on leading in his name, using the 'drone' bodies that Megatron had introduced to create order and a faceless threat to strike fear into the hearts of Autobots.

As time went on, more and more of the Seeker King's plans were falling into place. His forces had infiltrated almost every layer of the Decepticon hierarchy, he was leading Megatron onto false leads to the Allspark while his own sources scouted out the most potential places, he was becoming ever more popular while Megatron was becoming more demonized (and he had nothing to do with it, nope, nothing at all, no propaganda here!)...In other words, his new, more patient approach was finally starting to pay off. And victory was finally in his grasp when the Autobots had one last place to hide the Allspark. All that he had to do now was steer Megatron to Simfur as he prepared to move to Tyger Pax, as his agent in the Autobots had told him.

But unfortunately, he had overlooked one tiny factor: A traitor, a Megatron loyalist in his ranks who was as cunning as he was. He had told Megatron where the Allspark really was, and as Starscream personally punished the traitor, he received word from one of his warriors that Megatron had just arrived there. Starscream knew that there was no time to spend on more carefull planning now and instead rushed to the scene, determined not to let Megatron lay his hands on the Cybertronian's most sacred artifact. Imagine his surprise, when another unpredictable event happened in front of his very optics: the Allspark being launched into space, with Megatron rushing after it!

This was almost enough to finally break Starscream, who was forced to witness several centuries worth of planning falling apart because of two unforeseen but oh so critical factors. But he received new hope when Megatron contacted his inner circle, ordering some of them (including Starscream) the board the Nemesis and keep any Autobots at bay. As he listened to his Lord's commands, he contacted his own most loyal and skilled warriors, ordering some of them to board the Nemesis while ordering the rest to stay on Cybertron to keep both the Autobots' and Megatron's forces under control. When all preparations were set he took off into space and after their Lord, though he was again taken aback by seeing that both Megatron and the Allspark had disappeared.

For the next few weeks he stayed on the Nemesis, manipulating the other members of the inner circle as the staff were busy trying to track down Megatron's position. During this time, he had managed to convince his "collagues" to support him as Megatron's replacement until they found their leader again, though they remained ever suspicious of him. But he didn't mind, as he finally had the freedom to carry out his own plans, though he didn't make use of that freedom just yet. One day he left the ship to check things planetside, easily arranging a meeting with his chain of command to plan their next move. None of them were willing to let Megatron and the Allspark escape their reach, but they also had the problem of Cybertron already suffering from the loss off the Allspark. One of the more intelligent one's was mocked for suggesting that the planet was dying and that they were better off leaving, but to their surprise, Starscream agreed. But he managed to turn their shock and disbelief into approval, stating that this was the perfect opportunity to claim more colonies and get rid of those who weren't loyal to him by ordering them to stay on Cybertron, where they would kill off the Autobots until they would starve.

With this plan in mind, he returned to the Nemesis, telling the inner circle his plan of taking the entire Decepticon fleet with them to not only chase after Megatron, but to conquer any planets along the way as well, while the other forces stayed on the planet to take care of the Decepticon threat. The inner circle approved, and when the communication staff found a hint of Megatron's position, the Nemesis finally took off into deep space, with a fleet of smaller warships in it's wake...All filled with warriors loyal to Starscream. But before they left the solar system, one of the inner circle found out about the ever fading Cybertron. His suspicion against Starscream rekindled, he decided to send a secret subspace transmission to those still present on Cybertron, telling them to leave when either most Autobots were wiped out or when the Autobots would leave...Killing Starscream's plans to leave the Megatron loyalists to their death.

The next couple of millenia the Nemesis spend most of it's time in deep space, going after vague traces of Megatron while acquiring new territories as well. However, soon they had too many colonies and had to spread out their ships and forces, and Starscream was forced to watch as more and more Decepticons had to leave the fleet, and even the Nemesis. After some time only a very small crew on the Nemesis remained, and almost all of them either distrusted him, or were Megatron loyalists. He began to have a new main threat with Blackout, a Megatron loyalist who somehow knew that Starscream had no intentions of letting Megatron live, if the High Lord was even still alive after all this time. He managed to keep Blackout under control while maintaining his empire from afar, until that fatefull day when the crew of the Nemesis caught wind of the Autobot flagship...

The Ark.

Starscream knew that Optimus Prime and his own elite crew were on that ship and looking for the Allspark as well, and after following them from afar noticed how they were flying in an almost straight line. He knew instantly what this meant: They had a trace on the Allspark. But now he had to make a dangerous risk. Chase the Autobots into unknown territory, with Megatron's self-proclaimed elite at his side, or stay in the territory of his Decepticon empire and losing his possible only chance of getting the Allspark? Against his own judgement he decided on the first and ordered the others to go after the Ark. The next couple of years they spend chasing the Ark and having the occassional skirmish with the Autobots onboard it, until their lucky break came with a rather unexpected event that led them to the planet that had the Allspark: Earth.

They beat the Autobots to this backwater planet, and took on local disguises to search for the artifact and their leader, which Starscream was already making plans to take care off. It took a few short years, but their patience was finally rewarded, and they were able to achieve both objectives. Starscream wasn't pleased with Megatron's return, but decided to play along as they chased after the ancient relic, which was now in the hands of the Autobots and the local meatbags. Almost every event during that struggle went better then he could have ever hoped: All of the other Decepticons died at the hands of the 'humans' and the Autobots, and the Allspark was practically in his grasp as Megatron was fatally injured. But when that tiny human killed Megatron by using the Allspark, all of his ambitions were squashed, and he had no option other then to flee.

For a time, Starscream sat alone in the silent bridge of the Nemesis, wondering if it was all for nothing. After all, he had deserted his warriors, leaving it open to jackals like Shockwave and Jhiaxus, and the only prize he had to show for it all was confimration of Megatron's demise. But that didn't last long, for he soon received both Barricade's and Prime's transmissions, and they gave him such GLORIOUS ideas. Yes, the destruction of the Allspark may have been a major setback, but as long as his Spark was still shining bright he would not give up. So he stayed in the Sol system, planning as he secretly monitored the planet, waiting for a time to set his new plans into motion....

Weapons: Starscream has two types of firing weapons and 1 melee weapon. On both arms he has mounted miniguns, which are capable of doing heavy damage to all armor types (as seen in the movie), though he can only use them in short bursts as to not needlessly waste ammo, which will take some time to replenish. His left arm can also transform into a rocketlauncher with 6 missiles, which are all capable of doing medium to heavy damaged, depending on where they hit (they are inaccurate, and can be easily dodged). He also has double wristblades on his left wrist (seen in the comics, games, and on the CGI design), which can do heavy damage to light armor, medium damage to medium armor and light damage to heavy armor. He also has various psychical attributes, like talons on his feet and hands, and his sheer strength (it is said that he is one of the few Decepticons who can best Prime in battle).

Armor level: Starscream's armor is one of the most heavy ones in the Decepticon ranks. He can take severe punishments, like several sabot round blasts and direct shots of cannons like those of Ironhide's. This, coupled with his weaponry, intellect and speed make him very dangerous, though he prefers to stay more on the sidelines, only getting into the fights themselves when things go wrong or if he grows bored. When attacking him, it is recommended to do it with several fliers and heavy armored bots, for there is a big chance that he will overpower anything else.
