Thanks to Oppy for the effort gone into creating these.
1. IC, please.
While in the Crash Site, you MUST be primarily in character. All OOCness must be indicated as such, but please
remember the main purpose of this chat is to get your characters to interact on a neutral ground outside the game and for you to flesh them out.
2. Weapons Dampening Field.
Upon entering the bar, your projectile and non-natural melee weapons will automatically become useless to you.
You can show them off, you can turn your hand into a cannon, whatever have you, but the ammunition/energy needed to fire magically is not there. You do,
however, have melee weapons: your arms, feet, head, and any other natural limbs/appendages. You cannot use knives, hooks, etc. Think of what a human has
available to them and apply that to your mechanical creations. For example, Optimus would be able to punch with a fist. He would not be able to use his blade
and if he ever tried, it would simply shatter against his opponent. The shards would then laugh at him as they fell to the floor.
3. Improvising Weapons.
Bar stools, tables, random debris, etc. count as melee weapons. If your character has the sudden urge to break
that energon keg over someone's head, by all means. Go for it.
4. Damage.
In the event that a character is damaged/injured to the point of "death", that character will then
slip into a comatose state or go into stasis lock. In the case of humans, the Bar will immediately teleport them to an appropriate medical facility if friendly
transport is not readily available unless otherwise determined by the Mun; in the case of mechs, they will be equally removed to the appropriate medical
facility if no one is available to tend or carry them unless otherwise determined by the Mun. Characters thus injured are out of action until their injuries
are seen to, although they can still call, comm., or otherwise use non-presence communication. Keep in mind it takes a LONG TIME to heal injuries, during which
you might well be bored out of your mind because you have no one to interact with. MIND YOUR INJURIES, or that boredom will be entirely your own fault.
5. For Humans
Also, mind that there are boltholes everywhere in the Bar. This in addition to your ability to determine whether or not your human is made of butter or has a
protective bubble around him when/if a mech tries to hurt him.
6. Death
NO CHARACTER CAN BE KILLED WITHOUT HIS/HER PLAYER'S CONSENT. However, your human character is not exempt
from damage -- this risk comes from entering a bar that is commonly haunted by 25' robots. The rules of melee and projectile weapons count for humans, as
well as damage prospects; if a human irritates a transformer and provokes an attack, the human can be hurt. Keep the powerplaying down to an absolute minimum
and never assign specific damage as usual.
7. Friday
On Fridays, all of these rules will become null and void save Rule 4 (unless Mun chooses otherwise). This
primarily means your character will be allowed to blow the ever-living hell out of anything and everything he/she so wishes, cut things into bits, make a
delicious hand-tossed salad, and generally cause much chaos and mayhem, within reason, of course. This does not, however, guarantee that such an incident will
occur. On the following day, these rules will all come back into effect.
8. Three Strikes
There is a PEACE TREATY (READ IT!) in effect, in the Bar, between Autobots, Decepticons, and humans. Read it. Characters acting counter to this Treaty will be penalized by brig time, forced labor, and any other such niceties the Commanding Officers can come up with up to the SECOND time it happens. However, by the THIRD time they breach the Treaty in this fashion, a "Death Warrant" will be issued, and the character will be banned from the Bar and related chats. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Now, this isn't to say you can't push your luck with your characters or walk on eggshells while in
play. A "violation of the Treaty" here is defined as something severe involving a conscious and willing effort to cause harm to or the death of
another character of the opposite faction or a human by any means. Incidents within faction are to be dealt with by the leader of that faction and in
Prime's case, this rule applies to 'Bot/'Bot offenses, though Warbird might be a bit more lenient. It's fun to push the limits, it's
fun to bend the rules, but it's not fun for the ones who have to clean up after the messes have been made time and time again.
9. NDA
All humans upon arriving at the Bar are considered to have signed a government NDA, or will be shortly
approached to sign the same. Regardless, this means that upon their second visit to the Bar, ALL HUMANS have signed the NDA agreement. Please act accordingly.
10. White Noise.
IS F'ING CREEPY.
